Leadership Team

Jan Healy

Jan Healy, President

Jan is an active community volunteer. She founded Renewing Dignity, Inc. in 2019 to provide period products to women and girls who can’t afford these essential supplies. Jan is also a Founding member of the Women’s Giving Alliance and currently serves as President-Elect. She serves on the Board of Read USA and is an active member of the Beaches Community Fund. Prior Board Member commitments include The Bolles School Trustee, Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens, Planned Parenthood, Discovery Montessori School and Hubbard House. Jan was a Take Stock in Children Mentor for eight years and is a member of Leadership Jacksonville (Class of 1996). She has chaired many community fundraising events. Jan was employed as a financial analyst with The Shircliff Group (Jacksonville, FL) and as a consultant with Arthur Andersen (Miami, FL). She earned her degrees from the University of Florida with a BSBA in Business Administration and an MBA.

Karen Mayfield

Karen Mayfield, Vice President

Karen Mayfield is a Senior Vice President and Client Advisor of Wealth Management of SunTrust Bank. Born and raised in Tampa, Karen moved to Jacksonville in 1993. She graduated cum laude from the University of Tampa with a degree in Accounting. She successfully completed the ABA National Graduate Trust School at Northwestern University with the distinction of high honors. Karen demonstrates her community leadership by serving on the following Boards: Women’s Giving Alliance, Brooks YMCA, and Estate Planning Council of NE FL. She is an active member of the San Marco Rotary, Past President of Leadership Jacksonville, a member of the current Leadership Florida Cornerstone Class, a Sustaining member of the Junior League of Jacksonville, and a member of the Financial Planning Association. She has also served on the Board of Pine Castle as well as Chaired the Endowment of Palms Presbyterian Church.

Sabeen Perwaiz

Sabeen Perwaiz, Vice President

Sabeen Perwaiz is Executive Director of Florida Nonprofit Alliance where she strengthens, promotes and advocates on behalf of Florida’s nonprofit sector. In 2018, she was appointed to serve as a Commissioner on Florida's Commission on Community Service. Since joining WGA in 2015, she has served as Education Co-Chair, Delores Barr Weaver Fellow and a member of the Diversity taskforce. An avid volunteer, she has also led the all-volunteer team for TEDxJacksonville since 2012. She is a graduate of Leadership Jacksonville and Leadership Florida Connect. Perwaiz has been named an Aspen Ideas Scholar, Woman of Influence, Athena International Young Professional, 40 under 40 and a National Business Journal Influencer. She has also received a One Jax Humanitarian award. Sabeen earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and pre-medicine from City College of New York and her master's in International Development from the University of Birmingham in the UK. An avid traveler, Sabeen has visited over 42 countries and hopes to visit at least 100 in her lifetime.

Kristi Brandon

Kristi Brandon, Secretary

Kristi Brandon is the Chief Development Officer at Hubbard House. In her role, Kristi is responsible for raising public support, public relations, community education and the volunteer program. Kristi has fifteen years of experience in the nonprofit industry, both in higher education and women and girls serving organizations. She obtained her bachelor’s degree from Saint Mary’s College in Indiana and a Master’s in Public Administration from the Maxwell School at Syracuse University. Kristi has been a member of the Women’s Giving Alliance for more than five years. She’s served on the Advocacy Committee, including as Advocacy Co-Chair, and is a past North Beaches Co-Connector. Kristi is a member of Leadership Florida.

Wendy RansonWendy Ranson, Treasurer

Wendy Ranson is a Tax Partner with Pivot CPAs in Ponte Vedra. She provides tax compliance and consulting services to individuals and businesses in a variety of industries. Wendy was raised in Tennessee and received her B.S in Business Administration and Master of Accountancy from the University of Tennessee. She relocated from Nashville to Jacksonville in 2005. Since joining WGA, Wendy has been a member of the Finance Committee and the Grants Finance Team. She previously served as a co-Connector for Ponte Vedra/Marsh Landing. Wendy is an active member and serves as the Secretary of the Rotary Club of Jacksonville-Oceanside. She is a board member of Junior Achievement of Northeast Florida and a member of the Baptist Beaches Development Council.

Ann-Marie KnightAnn-Marie Knight
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee Co-Chair

Ann-Marie Knight serves as Vice President, Community Engagement and Chief Diversity Officer, UF Health Jacksonville, where she focuses on opportunities that enhance community wellness through collaboration and outreach. Prior to this role, she served as Director, Community Engagement and Diversity and Inclusion, Mayo Clinic Florida. Her seven-year tenure at Mayo Clinic also included functioning as Operations Administrator for the Department of Surgery, Critical Care Medicine Unit, Hospital Internal Medicine Unit, and Pharmacy Operations among other entities. With over 20 years of progressive healthcare experience in the areas of strategic planning and operations management, she attributes her professional acumen to her 24 years of Naval Service. Ann-Marie serves as a Regent for the American College of Healthcare Executives, on various boards including the Non-Profit Center of Northeast Florida and has membership in multiple local organizations including the Women’s Giving Alliance. She is an alumna of the Leadership Jacksonville Class of 2016 and Leadership Clay 2007, and has served as Chair, Women United for United Way of Northeast. Ms. Knight has received several awards which include: Veteran of Influence, Women of Distinction, a Woman with Heart and earned military decorations during her service.
