Access to Emergency Services in Northeast Florida
In the State of Florida, 46% of households in the state live in poverty or are ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed), where approximately 7,792,605 households are still struggling to make ends meet. On average in the State of Florida, 13% of these households were living below the Federal Poverty Level (FPL) and 33% were ALICE households who earned above the FPL, but not enough to afford basic household necessities.

With food insecurity, low wages, limited access to affordable housing, health concerns, access to technology resources, natural disasters and much more, many families are one paycheck from being homeless.

Join WGA on September 23, 2021 from 12:00 - 1:00 PM for a panel discussion from local nonprofit agencies that provide resources and access to services that help families dealing with emergency financial and food assistance in short- and long-term situations.
